Travelin' Tales, had its origins during a trip through Europe. Armed with my iPhone 3GS and a multitrack app, I wrote and recorded demos in churches in Dresden, stairwells in Berlin, a backpackers in Prague, and even stumbled across one of Jeff Martins’ 12 string Danelectro guitars in a shack in Ireland.

When I got home and listened to the demos in the studio they sounded great, so I decided to use them as the basis for my new record. When I added well recorded layers in the studio, the contrast only made the Lo-Fi phone recordings sound even stronger."
